That's how we're supposed to pray: with "shameless audacity." Jesus said so in Luke 11.
No shame. And with "intrepid boldness." (Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary).
That's His admonition to them when his disciples ask Him to teach them to pray.
"If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will YOUR FATHER in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!" (Exclamation point is in the text.)
Lord, fill us to overflowing with your Holy Spirit today!
